Colonized Medium Exuding Wound
Vulnamin Cream or PWD, together with iodopovidone in gauze (effective on all bacteria except Pseudomonas Aeruginosa) or silverbased dressings. Dressing change is recommended every 48 hours.
Colonized Heavy Exuding Wound
Vulnamin PWD is preferred to avoid an increase in exudation. Dressing change is recommended daily to avoid the maceration phenomena associated with the exudate increasing.
