Pressure Ulcers
18 years old male suffering from spina bifida with mental retardation and motor problems, fecal and urinary incontinence.
Due to immobilisation in bed (lack of spontaneous movement) and in wheelchair, he developed a left ischium pressure injury.
Diagnosis
III stage pressure injury.
Previous Treatment
Polyurethane foam.
Reason for change
Lesion in stand by situation for more then one year.
Treatment
- Vulnamin Gel
- 14 days
- 3 applications/week
- Polyurethane foam as secondary dressing
